What We Believe
We Believe: The bible is the inspired word of God and is holy and without error. (2 Tim 3:16)
We Believe: In the Trinity. That God exists in three distinct persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:18)
We Believe: Salvation occurs when a person repents of their sins and puts their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Acts 2:38)
We Believe: In the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God's people are given specific gifts, for the purpose of witnessing and edifying the body of believers. (1 Cor 12:4-11)
We Believe: In water baptism by immersion. We believe that being baptized is an act of obedience, and is a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Rom 6:3-4)
We Believe: In the taking of communion as an act of remembrance and is a reflection of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. (1 Cor 11:23-30)
We Believe: In the rapture of the church. We believe that Christ will descend from heaven and His saints will be caught up with Him in the clouds to be with Him forever. (2 Thess 4:15-17)
