What We Believe
We Believe: The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and is holy and without error. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We Believe: In the Trinity. That God exists in three distinct persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Ghost. (Matthew 28:18)
We Believe: That Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood for the sins of the world. We believe that salvation comes when we repent of our sins, and by faith receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. (Acts 2:38)
We Believe: In the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We believe in the empowerment of the Holy Spirit with gifts and signs following. (Mark 16:16-18)
We Believe: In water baptism by immersion. We believe being baptized is an act of obedience, and is a symbol of the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-4)
We Believe: In the taking of communion as an act of remembrance, and is a reflection of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30)
We Believe: In the rapture of the believer. We believe that Christ will descend from heaven, and His saints will be caught up in the air to be with Him forever. (2 Thessalonians 4:15-17)
We Believe: That salvation is by grace alone and not by works lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
